Historic Riverside Cemetery Conservancy is a 501 (C) 3 organization that brings the historic, educational value of the cemetery to the community, and assist with the preservation, beautification and building endowments to sustain the lively hood of Riverside Cemetery.

What is the Conservancy's Role?

Working to bring the community together with Riverside Cemetery to inspire the pursuit of historic knowledge, appreciation of heritage and the documented growth of the individuals who, on many different levels, help decide the future of our city and state.

The Historic Riverside Cemetery Conservancy is also involved in the restoration, beautification and development of programs to celebrate lives that have passed on.

In addition to cultivating the community's interest in historic Riverside Cemetery, the foundation will add members, organize fundraisers, hold community-wide events, conduct educational programs, build a second endowment, and secure grants for specific projects that will enhance the cemetery such as:

•  Trees/landscaping

•  Benches

•  Historic signs

•  Road construction

•  Perennial beds

•  Other specific projects to enhance the aesthetic appeal and usefulness of the cemetery

Charitable contributions will be solicited from:

•  Individuals via individual conservancy memberships (annually or bi-annually Membership Drive)

•  Corporations through conservancy corporate memberships, grants, or sponsorships

•  Other foundation grants or endowments
